Kalmah – Seventh Swamphony

The seventh full-length album from Finnish melodic death metal titans Kalmah, “Seventh Swamphony,” is yet another in a long line of strong efforts from this emerging act and should propel them out into the more respected area of the genre instead of being seen as hopping on the bandwagon of a popular genre.
Along with fellow countrymen Children of Bodom, the main ingredients to be found here is keyboard-laced death metal infused with luscious melodies from the keyboard/guitar interplay while the whole monster rattles along at a speed consistent with thrash metal.
